About our Lawyers - Kallen Fong

Kallen Fong is a conflict resolution advocate who is committed to assist clients resolve disputes with the highest level of dignity and integrity. She takes a pragmatic and compassionate approach to family law, tackling issues at the core, being sensitive to the intricate human emotions that guide or misguide clients’ course as they seek to restructure their families.

Purposing not only to “divide the pie” but to “expand the pie”, Kallen focuses on the interests and long-term goals of the clients and their children. Each client has his/her own unique circumstances and challenges. Kallen advocates for each client by anticipating, appraising and strategizing about the management of conflict, recommending suitable conflict resolution process and crafting a solution unique to meet the needs.

Kallen believes that clients are best served by the interdisciplinary model of collaborative law. She works closely with other professionals to ensure that clients access resources in the community necessary for conflict resolution, personal growth and transformation.

Kallen is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, Canadian Bar Association and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She volunteers monthly at the Salvation Army's pro bono program. She also has a passion for educating the public and gives lectures regularly at the People's Law School, SUCCESS, CHIMO, Vancouver Multicultural Family Support Services Society and other community groups, in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
